Pool Rules: The rules are the same from last year.
• Every week, you will have until Saturday @ 6AM (MST) to submit your picks through http://www.officefootballpool.com. If your picks are not received by then, your picks will not be allowed for that week.
In the event there is suddenly a forfeited/cancelled or postponed NCAA/NFL game that falls outside of the pick deadline of 6am Saturday MST, that pick will be assigned a TIE for the week – A TIE is not a loss nor is it a win. We realize that it’s unfortunate that the pick cannot be changed past the deadline, but due to the size of the pool, coupled with various amounts of scenarios presented while trying to coordinate a change for those impacted, we felt it best to use this as the course of action.
You must pick 6 teams (College or Pro). If all 6 of your teams cover the spread for that given week, you win a share of the weekly total amount. You cannot submit a pick that has an OFF line. If your team ties a spread, you push. With this pool, a push is a TIE and will not count as a WIN for the week. If more than one person picks 6 correct selections in a given week, the total pot will be divided by the number of winners. If no one wins in a given week, the pot will carry over to the next week. Winners will be paid out regularly once all payments have been accounted for that given week played.
Every week there will be $2 per person that will be put into an end of the season pot. The end of the season pot will consist of everyone’s total wins through their best 15 weeks. If there is a tiebreaker, we will take the tiebreakers total wins. The payout for the end of season pot will be as follows:
1st- 35%, 2nd- 20%, 3rd- 15%, 4th- 10%, 5th- 8%, 6th- 6%, 7th- 4%, 8th- 2%
In the event that the NFL season is postponed or cancelled… In the event that the season is cancelled, the remaining funds (for weeks not played) can be credited to your account for the next season or they can be refunded. If the season is postponed with a clear timeline that is expected to be reasonable for the continuation of the 2021 season, then we will wait until the postponed time frame to continue play.
If the season is cancelled, the accumulated season ending pot will be distributed as if the season ended on the completed week before the announcement. Ie. No partial week awards will be credited to a person’s totals if the week is not completed by all pool participants. This also goes for the weekly winners. In the event the NFL cancels their league in the middle of a week, anyone with a 6 for that week will not qualify for the weekly pot as the week was not completed by every participant.
In regards to the season end pot: If the season ends:
Week 1-3, there will be no weeks dropped in considering the winners.
Week 4-6, there will be 1 week dropped in considering the winners.
Week 7-12- there will be 2 weeks dropped in considering the winners.
Week 13-18- This will constitute the normal rules of 3 weeks dropped in considering the winners.

The cost will continue to be $15 per week with $2 going to the end of the year pot for the person(s) who has the highest total season wins. In addition, there will be an upfront operating/web-site hosting fee of $10 per user/alias name for the season participation on http://www.officefootballpool.com. The 2023 season will consist of 18 Weeks. If you play all 18 weeks, the cost will be $280. You will be responsible for PAYING NO LESS THAN 9 WEEKS AT A TIME- HALF THE SEASON $140. It is recommended that you PAY YOUR FULL SEASON UPFRONT. In order to play in week one, you must have a check/PayPal/VENMO/Zelle out prior to the start of Week 1. Week one starts Thursday, September 7th.**NOTE. You will not be allowed to play in the next week if your payment has not been received for the week prior. Winners will not be paid out until everyone has paid for that given week.

PayPal Costs 2.9% + $0.30 USD per transaction when the money comes from a debit or credit card or PayPal Credit. As a sender, you will be responsible for this transaction fee and must account for the fee prior to you submitting the transaction.
